Nigeria has crashed out of the ongoing 2023 FIBA Afrocan holding in Angola after a 2 points loss to the defending Champions.
The D’Tigers lost to DR Congo who were the defending in a closed contest 74-72.
Nigeria started poorly in the first quarter but came back better in the second, third and fourth quarter but was not enough for them to progress to the semi-finals.
Although D’Tigers began the competition brilliantly with a comfortable victory over Mali in their first game, lost to Angola in their final group game and defeated Gabon in the classification game 71-55.
