BFA wins 1st El-Lado Football Competition, Elado Pledges To Introduce Female Version Of Competition Next Year -

Barrier Football Academy on Saturday defeated Okaa Sports Football Club by three goals to nil on penalty shoot out in the final of the 1st Elado Football Competition, played at the Kwara Football Academy to win the Championship.

Elado Football Competition was Organized and Sponsored by the CEO of Elado Nig Ltd, Alhaji Olatunji Mohammed in Memory of his Late sister, Alhaja Rahmat Shittu.

The final which was fire for fire from the blast of the whistle to the end, finished in a barren goalless draw in the regulation time and BFA won on Penalty after scoring all their kicks while Barrier FA Goalkeeper, Ballah Mohammed was the hero as he saved all the kicks of Okaa Sports FC players .

Speaking with the sports writers, the sponsor of the tournament and Baba Adini Tijaniya of Delta State, Mallam Olatunji Mohammed praised stakeholders for their support towards a hitch free tournament, noting that the competition has come to stay as an annual championship while the female version of the tourney will debut as from next year.

“I want to thank stakeholders for their overwhelming support from the commencement of the competition to the end, the support is unquantifiable. I was also marvelled with the publicity from Kwara SWAN, it’s was a big deal for Elado, the female version of it will start from next year”

Mallam Mohammed who particularly appreciated Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Executive Chairman of the Sports Commission, Mallam Bola Magaji, the Management of KFA and Kwara SWAN for their unalloyed support, said talents discovered at the competition will be closely monitored and nurtured to stardom.
