It will be a jollof encounter as Remo Stars who were NPFL runners up, will be facing Ghanian champions Medeama FC .
It could be recall that the Ikenne based side played in the CAF Confederations cup last season but got eliminated in the second round.
If Remo Stars scale through to the second qualifying round, will face Horoya AC (Guinea)
The Ikenne worrior must work out their salvation against tough West African oppositions for their first ever CAF Champions League appearance.
In second prestigious CAF competitions, Federation Cup winner Bendel Insurance got a difficult draw as they were pitted against Algerian side Aso Chiefs.
The Benin Arsenal will face RS Berkane of Morocco if they eliminated their counterparts from Algeria.
NPFL 2022 Champions and quarter-finalists in last season CAF Confederations cup, Rivers United were seeded and exempted from preliminary round.
And they will face the winner between Etoile Filante (Burnkina Faso) and Ziquindor FC (Senegal) in the final round for a place in the group stage.
The first leg scheduled Aug 18th to 20th and second leg Aug 25th to 27th
