*Friendly: Adeyemi Football Club Arrest VIA Football Academy At Odogbo Barracks*

In a bid to continue their preparation and players’ strengthening, Ibadan-based Football Club, Adeyemi FC has outshone VIA Football Academy in a round leather game friendly.

The friendly encounter between both the two sides, which took place at Odogbo Barracks football field Ibadan was full of massive attacks for the whole of 90 minutes.

VIA Football Academy provoked Adeyemi FC with several strikes in the first few minutes of the game but the gallant shot-stopper of Adeyemi FC refused to compromise as he displayed some brilliant saves.

At the seventeenth minute of the encounter, Isiaka Nurudeen, the skipper of Adeyemi FC broke the deadlock with a breath-taking goal to ease the massive pressure on his team.

However, VIA Football Academy started mounting pressure on Adeyemi FC to level the scoreline, but their efforts proved abortive.

Adeyemi FC was able to defend very well as the game progressed as they maintained the lone goal lead throughout the first half.

The second half of the game was another cracker as the VIA Football Academy stepped up with more attacks in an attempt to equalize but the Adeyemi FC defence proved to be too strong for them.

Despite the opponent’s attacks, Adeyemi Football Club still missed some chances to double their lead even though the match ended in their favour, having maintained the lone goal lead.
