Abdullateef Ahmed an Ilorin based engineer and CEO of Cyteck engineering and technology limited, on Thursday at the Kwara FA House officially picked up intent form to contest Chairmanship Position of the Kwara football Association.
Engr Ahmed Olaide while speaking with journalists after picking his intent form, vowed to overhaul and revamp football development from the grassroots, noting that his priority is to create sustainable template for talent discovery through football competitions across the sixteen local Government areas of the state.
Engr Olaide explained that the enabling environment provided by the present administration of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for sports development should be complemented with genuine football plans, policies and achievable programmes.
He stressed that his intension is very clear from the on set, adding that will not derail from the focus of revamping grassroots football through sustainable programmes and policies.
He however Solicited for the unflinching support of all stakeholders in realizing his dream, promising to operating an open door policy to guarantee inclusiveness and Unity of Purpose.
Kwara FA Election holds in Kaiama, headquarters of Kaiama Local Government area of the state on the13th of June, 2023.
