Nigerian sportswear and apparel company, Ijobasports Wears, has unveiled two award-winning sports journalists, Adewale Bashir and Olusola Olasupo, as the company’s brand ambassadors.
The two journalists, who have been trailblazers in the field of sports broadcasting, were officially introduced as brand ambassadors by the company’s Head Of Communication, Mr Mike Hakim also known as MC Olumiko.
One of the brand ambassador, Adewale Bashir, works with Crest 106.1FM in Akure, Ondo State, and is a well-known sports journalist and has won several awards, for his outstanding contributions to sports journalism.
Olusola Olasupo, popularly known as “Mr Commentator,” who also one of the brand ambassador is a seasoned Yoruba sports broadcaster who has covered several major sporting events in south west and currently works with Adamimogo 93.1FM in Lekki, Lagos State, he has won several awards for his excellence in sports broadcasting.
The company’s Head of Communication, Mr Mike Halim, while reacting, said the decision to appoint Adewale Bashir and Olusola Olasupo as brand ambassadors was informed by their track record in sports journalism and their contributions to the development of sports in Nigeria.
He added that, there job is to promote the brand’s activities across Southwest and beyond through their daily sports programme on radio and on their social media platforms.
“Ijobasports Wears is delighted to welcome Adewale Bashir and Olusola Olasupo to our family as brand ambassadors.
These two respected journalists have been tireless in their efforts to promote sports development in Nigeria, and we believe that their partnership with our brand will enable us to reach a wider audience,” he said.
Mr Halim added that apart from the two sports journalists, Olusola Alabi also known as Ijobasports was also unveiled as the brand’s influencer, he added that his own assignment is to promote the company’s services across his social media platforms with day to day update and awareness about the brand.
He also reiterated that the company is on a path of growth and doing everything to have a strong foundation and also added that the company will soon unveil more influencers.
The appointment of Adewale Bashir and Olusola Olasupo as brand ambassadors by Ijobasports Wears is seen as a positive step towards the development of sports in Nigeria and the company’s decision to recognize and partner with outstanding sports journalists is a testament to its commitment to promoting sports development in the country.
