The maiden free summer lesson for secondary school students organized by MSG Needy-Care Foundation ended in Ilorin on Saturday September 7, 2024 in which more than 100 Students benefited from the initiative.
The Founder and President of MSG Needy-Care Foundation, Alh. Mahmood Sulu Gambari described the initiative as a way to impact the society and also encourage the younger generation, the free summer lesson was held at Ipata L.G.E.A School Ilorin.
Dignitaries from across the sphere graced the closing and prize given ceremony, the closing ceremony was full of entertainment as the students entertained guests who came for the event.
The Chairman of the occasion, Alh. Abdul-rahmon Adetunji, the proprietor of Socrates College charged students to be more focused and serious in their studies.
Also in attendance, are Representative of Association of Primary School Head Teachers Of Nigeria (AOFPSHEN), Association of Nigeria Principal Secondary Schools (ANCOPSS) SUBEB and representative from the Ministry of Education.
The Director of Advocacy and Project, Mrs Olowo Ramat Lawal described the initiative as a way of encouraging future leaders.
The students performed, songs, drama, choreography and other entertaining acts to appreciate the organisers and the guests who were present at the closing ceremony.
Best students from JSS 1 – SS 3 were awesomely awarded for their commitment and dedication, other students who performed excellently were also given prizes.
The students were grateful for the opportunity to partake in the summer which has impacted them positively and increased their knowledge.
