My Aim Is To Become Professional Tennis Player- Olayinka Azeez

Ibadan born aspiring tennis player Olayinka Azeez has said her vision is to become a professional Tennis player.

Olayinka, a 200 level student of the department of human kinetics, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko,Ondo State revealed this in a brief chat with Journalists on Sunday.

She said, she loves tennis since she was growing up as a kid and looking forward to become a professional Tennis player.

In her words” I love tennis since I was young and I always looking forward to become a professional Tennis player, the likes of Serena Williams, Emma Raducanu are my mentors, I believe I will definitely get there one day”. She said.

The 21 year old added that joining her school tennis team is a step in announcing her self on the tennis court and she has been performing excellently in previous games with the school’s team.

Olayinka noted that part of her plans is to join Oyo State Tennis Association as a tennis player in order to build her tennis career properly and to groom herself beyond expectation and to be representing her state and Nigeria at large.

While appreciating her close friend, Olusola Alabi also known as Ijobasports for his advices and mentorship, she urged all sports journalists and sports writers to continue supporting and showcasing talented Tennis player, footballer, boxers and other athletes at the grassroots level.

Olayinka Azeez is looking forward to represent Oyo State and Nigeria at the national level.
