The spikers of Ekiti State have qualified for the final of the 8th National Youth Game, Asaba 2024.
The volleyball team defeated their Bayelsa counterpart on Sunday (2-0) and yesterday won a very tight encounter against Adamawa by 1-0.
Expressing gratitude to God, the head coach of the team Olusoji Farotimi said this is a dream come true. He salutes the resilience of the players and said he is really proud of them for putting in their whole efforts to come this far in the competition.
He also commended his assistant coach Adeoye Adebowale, and the entire crew for their commitment and promised that everything will be put in place to ensure that the team emerges winner in the competition.
The Great spikers will be playing their final match on Tuesday (Today) against their Oyo counterpart.
