NYG24: Cycling Squad Adds More Medal To Team Kwara Haul

Team Kwara achieved 3 silver and 1 bronze medals in the Cycling events at the 8th National Youth Games in Asaba, Delta State.

The medals came from the 60km girls’ race, the 80km boys’ race, and the Point Race events.

Ozain Falilat Opeyemi won silver in the girls’ Point Race, while Atanda Malik claimed bronze in the boys’ Point Race.

Head Coach Lukman Olawale Lawal praised the athletes for their hard work, resilience, and determination, and promised they are preparing diligently for future competitions.

The team included Ozain Opeyemi Falilat, Atanda AbdulMaleeq Sulaiman, Garuba Kamaldeen Muhammed, and Agbaje Oluwafunmilayo Bashirah.
