The Offa Volleyball Club have expressed their gratitude to the Executive Governor of Kwara State, His Excellency Mallam Abdulraham Abdulrasak for the cash of 1.5 millions naira donated to the Club.
This was contained in statement released and signed by the Head Coach Suleiman O.B Ajeigbe on Tuesday evening.
Coach Ajeigbe on behalf of the club thanked the governor for the uncommon financial support given to the team. “Thanks to Excellency, Mallam Abdulraham Abdulrasak the executive governor of Kwara State for the Financial support giving to Offa Volleyball Club, words are not enough to show our appreciation and grateful for the uncommon financial support”
Ajeigbe further appreciated the governor for the consistent support since his inception as the Executive Governor of Kwara State.
He said that, the believe and support the Governor has shown, has make the Club for writing history and taken the Club far at the top level in the history of Volleyball in Nigeria as the first private owned Club to ever win the highest Volleyball league in Nigeria.
The Coach prayed that, almighty Allah will grant the Governor everlasting blessings and continue to lift him higher.
He also thanked the Chairman Kwara State Sports Commission, Mallam Bola Mogaji for his love and unwavering support to the team and prayed almighty Allah will fulfill his needs.
The team will depart for Abuja Wednesday (Tomorrow) for the Nigeria Volleyball Premier League, which holds July 12 to 23 at the Moshood Abiola Stadium.
