Okaa Sports Boss Hails Aliyu Zubair’s Appointment As Flying Eagles Head Coach

Chairman of Okaa Sports FC, Alhaji Abdullahi Adelodun has hailed the Nigeria Football Federation NFF over the appointment of Coach Aliyu Zubairu as the new Head Coach of the National U-20 Boys team, the Flying Eagles.

In a statement, today Alhaji Adelodun congratulated Coach Zubair on his appointment, describing it as a well-deserved appointment and a good move for the team.

“This is a well-deserved and incredible appointment from the NFF, Coach Zubair befits the national U-20 team going by his record, winning the Federation Cup and gaining promotion to the NPFL with El-Kanemi Warriors with the young lads”

He commended the NFF for choosing Coach Zubair as the round peg in a round hole heading the U-20 male national team. He wished Zubair a successful outing as he assumed his office as the Head Coach.

His first assignment as head coach will be to assemble and prepare the Flying Eagles for the upcoming WAFU B U20 Championship, which is scheduled to take place in October and November in Togo.

The tournament will determine the zone’s representative for the 2024 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
