Okaa Sports FC secured first victory at the 3rd edition of Jafak Cup 2024 defeated Oke-Ose FA by 1-0.
The encounter was played at Kwara State Stadium, Ilorin on Thursday.
The competition was kicked-off on Monday at Kwara State Stadium, Ilorin.
Sulyman Yusuf Baraje scored the only goal of the encounter in the first half pouncing home from rebound.
The team was spirited and lively throughout the encounter as they showed grits, passion and precision on the pitch which was different from the first match they lost against Gaa-Akanbi FC.
Okaa Sports began the encounter with confidence as they went on gun blazing.
But their opponents also showed what they are made of as they pressed for equalizer in the second half but Okaa Sports remain resolute defended with their heart and soul.
Recall, the players challenged themselves after the disappointing defeat in their opening match against Gaa-Akanbi FC and they showed that in the game.
The Chairman of the club Alhaji Abdullahi Adelodun commended the players for the victory, charged them not to relent and go for another victory in their next match.
Okaa Sports will play Corporate Ballers in their third match of the competition on Wednesday February 28 by 10am.
