Other States Needs To Challenge Kwara In Athletes Development and Championship Organization – Engr. Gumel

Other states in Nigeria have been charged to challenged Kwara State in athletes development and championship organisation.

The President of Nigeria Teqball Federation Engr. Habu Gumel made this statement while addressing the athletes in Hammamet, Tunisia.

Engr. Gumel who was the leader of the Nigeria contingent for the 2nd Africa Beach Games in Tunisia, said there is no better time to push the sports further than now.

He further stated that success must be build on the achievement they recorded in Hammamet, in other to promote and developed the sports in all the states in Nigeria.

Gumel charged other states to challenge Kwara in athletes development and championship organisation, adding that need to do more in coaching and referees courses.

He also added the Hammamet achievement will fast track NIGTEQ recognition application with the Federal Government, the they are happy with the Federation being the first to secure gold and silver medals for the country in Tunisia.

Engr. Gumel however promised that, it will be finalized once he gets back to Nigeria.

He praised and congratulated all the states hardworking chairmen and dedicated the victory in Tunisia to them.

” Congratulations to all our hardworking state chairmen, we dedicate our victory in Tunisia to you all, please let us do more now , we are in spotlights” said Gumel.

The state chairmen in their words appreciate their president for his unwavering support, adding that he his a legend in sports administration, that they are just privilege to have him.

” Please let us appreciate our president, he is a legend in sports administration, we are just privilege to have him, they said.”

It can be recall that Nigeria won gold medals in mixed doubles, silver medals in men’s singles and men’s doubles in Teqball events at the 2nd Africa Beach Games in Hammamet, Tunisia.
