Paris 2024: Nigerian Cyclist Ese Ukpeseraye Thanks German Team That Offers Her Bicycle To Compete

Cyclist Ese Ukpeseraye has expressed delight over the spirit of sportsmanhip shown to her by the German team.

The German team came to her rescue by offering her a bicycle to compete at the Kerin and Sprint in Cycling events at the ongoing Paris 2024.

Ukpeseraye was given a short notice to compete at the Keirin and Sprint events by the organizers but had no bicycle to race on the tracks.

She however expressed her appreciation on her X handle to the German team for providing a track bike.

“Due to the short notice of me competing at the keirin & Sprint, team Nigeria I had no bicycle to race with on the tracks. In the spirit of sportsmanship, the German team came to my rescue by offering me a bicycle. Thank you. she wrote.

Ese Lovina Ukpeseraye qualified for the momentous occasion by excelling in three separate Olympic cycling events. She made history as the first Nigerian cyclist to compete at the Olympics.
