Sen. Mustapha Supports Boxing Talent Scouting In Kwara -

Senator representing Kwara Central at the Senate, Mall. Saliu Mustapha, has lent support for an upcoming boxing talent scouting program, saying that sports is a platform that unite and strengthen the society, adding that youthful talents can find fulfillment in various sporting vocation.

He made this comment in Ilorin while also commending the organizers of the program.

Peteru Sports Management, Kwara State Boxing Coaches Association and Yucateco Boxing Promotion put up the program to pick talented boxers in Kwara.

The scouting program which is slated for Sunday 14 July 2024 will take place at Queen Elizabeth School, Ilorin, Kwara State.

Yucateco Boxing Promotion were invited by the Boxing body and are set to discover new talents and harness talented boxers during the program.

Over 50 boxers both male and female in the state will be on ground to showcase their boxing talents and skills in the ring at the competition.

According to the Yucateco, the talented boxers that scales through the rules provided will have the advantage of joining their boxing club.

Speaking on the program, the Senator said that such sporting venture are worth supporting.

Mustapha who is known for his grassroots sports development in Kwara and Nigeria has pledged his unwavering support in bringing out new talents.

Sen. Mustapha Said it is imperative to consider other sports that are not yet in the map, to encourage youth who participate in these games, encourage, and give them a hope of better days in their chosen career.
