Sporting Lagos Entertained Adeyemi Football Club In a 2-1 Friendly Encounter

Onikan Stadium, the home ground of the NPLF side, Sporting Lagos, agog as football lovers witnessed a friendly encounter between Sporting Lagos and Adeyemi Football Club of Ibadan today.

The game, which lasted for 90 minutes, was full of great performance, good chances and beautiful display from both side.

First half of the game, Adeyemi Football Club of Ibadan displayed good football with struggling to find the back of the net, but the home side, sporting Lagos, proved to be the landlord at Onikan Stadium by denying all Adeyemi FC scoring chances.

Sporting Lagos later served Adeyemi FC with two beautiful goals to feel the heat of the real Lagos side in the first half of the game, with the two goals down, Adeyemi FC fought hard to get a goal, but the game ended 2-0 at the half-time.

A few minutes into the second half of the game, Adeyemi FC stepped up aggressively with massive attacks, but Akorede Mahmood later crowned the efforts with a brilliant goal to change the atmosphere.

Adeyemi FC attacks were strong and tight after they pulled one back, many chances were missed, including a penalty which was supposed to awarded in favor of Adeyemi FC but the center referee overlooked it and the game ended 2-1.

The Head Coach of Adeyemi Football Club, Kolawole Emmanuel, was amazed with his guys’ performance.

Adeyemi Football Club will continue their friendly round leather game as they will face Ojodu City Football Club at 9am tomorrow.
