As the Super Eagles Striker, Taiwo Awoniyi clocks 27 today, the Sports Writers’ Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Kwara State Chapter has joined other well wishers across the World in celebrating with the player on the occasion of his birthday.
Kwara SWAN Chairman, Mallam Ayodeji Ismail, and the entire Executive Members of the Association described Taiwo Awoniyi as a game changer, not only to Kwara State but Nigeria.
In a statement signed by the Association’s Secretary, Dare Kuti wished Nottingham Forest Star a year filled with good luck, good health, and much more fruitful career at his club side and country.
Kuti commended Awoniyi’s discipline, diligence and courage, which according to the SWAN leader has graciously translated into transforming his club side.
In the congratulatory message, SWAN also applauds the Awoniyi’s steps taken in prioritising the completion of the Secretariat.
