Kwara State have been selected to hosts 2023 Teqball World Championship qualifier according to a report.
The qualifier which is scheduled for 2nd – 10th, September 2023, will received Teqball players across Nigeria, the qualifications will be played at Offa and Ilorin.
The inspection of facilities by the NIGTEQ will commence on 24th to 26th August 2023.
And the movement of Teqball facilities to Offa is scheduled for 28th of August, while the NIGTEQ staff will arrive on 31st August 2023 for the championship.
This is the first time Kwara State will be hosting championship in fast rising sport “Teqball”
Recall Nigeria Teqball team came first among the 12 Nations that participated in the men’s singles, men’s doubles and mixed doubles categories in Teqball events at the 2023, 2nd African Beach Games in Hammamet, Tunisia.
Where the trio of Victor Oyemade, Funsho Funto and Rasheedat Salau from Kwara claimed gold and silver medals in Hammamet, Tunisia.
