The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has confirmed the death of three individuals in a two-storey building collapse at Noman’s Land Fagge Local Government Area of Kano State.
In a statement on the agency’s official X handle, on Thursday, September 5, it was disclosed that two other persons were rescued alive as six people were trapped in the incident.
The statement reads: “A tragic incident occurred at around 2:00 am, involving the collapse of a two-story building in Nomans-land, Sabon Gari, Fagge LGA, Kano State. Six people were trapped in the building. So far, two individuals have been rescued alive, while three others have been confirmed dead.
“Search and rescue operations are still ongoing with the involvement of relevant stakeholders.”
