Nigerian sprinter Udodi Onwuzurike has set a new record as 3rd Nigerian fastest man of all-time.
Onwuzurike achieved this feat after running a blistering time of 9.92s in 100 meters quarter-finals of NCAA West Prelims to become the 3rd fastest Nigerian Man of all-time, behind Olusoji Fasuba 9.85s, Divine Oduduru 9.86s and similar time with Seun Ogunkoya 9.92s
Two weeks ago, the 20 year-old also became the third fastest Nigerian athlete in history to hit the sub-20 time mark after running a personal best of 19.91s to win the men’s 200 meters at the PAC-12 Championships in California, sitting behind Divine Oduduru 19.73 and Francis Obikwelu 19.84.
