Volleyball Premier League: Offa Volleyball Club Dedicates Victory To Gov. Abdulrasak.

Offa Volleyball Club has dedicated her victory so far at the ongoing first phase of Nigeria Volleyball Premier League to the Executive of Kwara State, Mall. Abdulrahman Abdulrasak.

This was disclosed during a media chats with journalists on Friday.

The team under Coach Ajeigbe had won six matches and lost one in seven matches campaign they have played with just one match to end the first phase of the league.

Offa Volleyball Club had commanding victory over Spartans of Yola and run riot over Kada Kings in their second match.

They also did remarkably well to defeat Nigeria Police Force in their third match.

The team continue the impressive performance with another victory over Kano Pillars, Sunshine Spikers and Nigeria Immigration Service respectively to write the club name with gold in the tournament.

NSCDC defeated the club on Friday to record the club first defeat so far so good in the tournament.

It could be recalled that the team received cash donation of #1.5 million naira from Gov. Abdulrahman Abdulrasak as support for the team before they departed for Abuja.

Coach Ajeigbe on behalf of the club dedicated the victory so far to the Excellency Gov. Abdulrahman Abdulrasak, appreciating His Excellency for the consistent support since his inception as the Executive Governor of Kwara State.

He also thanked Kwara State Sports Commission under the able leadership of Mallam Bola Mogaji for his fatherly love and unwavering support to the team.

The first phase of Nigeria Volleyball Premier League holding in Abuja at Moshood Abiola National Stadium, package B will end on Sunday July 23.
