On Wednesday one of the debutants from CAF representatives Zambia suffered another annihilation in the hand of Spain.
Spain ran riot over their African opponents as the Zambians were no where to be found on the pitch as they received 5 goals from the European.
The match was relatively one sided affair as the Zambians registered their first ever shot on targets at the tournament.
The Cooper ladies who are already out of the tournament after losing their first two games, will be playing for pride in their last group game.
They have known how the world stage is and they would have learn and gather the experience from the tournament.
History beckons as of the debutants in the tournament and from CAF region “Atlas Lionesses” of Morocco scored and registered their first ever goal and win against South Korea in early Sunday morning.
The Moroccans who took an early lead in six minutes from Jraidi, held on to snatched the victory with sumptuous performance.
It was an outstanding display from the Moroccans as they became the first Arab nation to took part and registered a win at the mundial.
Arab nations and Africans will be proud of the North African for their impressive performance against the Asians.
The victory will boost their morale, confidence and give them believed going into the third group game against Colombia.
Atlas Lionesses will still have to put another excellent performance against the South Americans if they have to make to the round of 16 in a winners take it all match.
Bayana Bayana have not learn from their mistakes as they blew away a two goal lead to draw Argentina.
The South Africans took an early lead in the first half but could not held on as they did against Sweden in the first match as the Argentine women scored two goals in three minutes in second half.
Which was another heart break for Desire Ellis’ side to draw in that manner after a commanding lead before the hour mark.
Now a mountain to climb for South Africa in their third group game as they play Italy who are sitting in second position with 3 points two points above South Africa who had a point.
Nigeria are the only CAF representatives side, that have not taste defeat at the tournament.
The 11th African Champions gave an excellent performance against co-hosts Australia, as the West Africans came from behind to beat the Aussies infront of their home fans in a filled attendance.
Goals from Uchenna Kanu, Osinachi Ohale and Asisat Oshoala gave Super Falcons a resounding victory but it was a nervy end as the Australian mounted pressure to scored the second goal but Nigeria stood firm to have the 3 points.
Super Falcons will be looking forward to consolidate on the victory when they play debutants and already eliminated Republic of Ireland to top their group.
Pointers are now counting on Nigeria and Morocco amongst the teams that could make it to the round of 16 after their resounding victories in match day two.
