BOXING: Yucateco Boxing League Postponed Due To Security Reasons

The management of Yucateco Boxing Promotion announced the postponement of the opening ceremony of Yucateco Boxing League (YBL)

In a statement signed by the management of the league on Monday 29th July stated that the postponement came as a result of the security state of the country.

The opening ceremony of the league which was firstly slated for Friday 2nd of August, 2024 have now been re-scheduled to Sunday 11th of August, 2024.

The management further stated that, the threat of particular protest and possible public disturbance in the major cities in the country contributed to the postponement.

The management also stated, that the postponement was in order to ensure the safety of the YBL family all over the country. She implored the YBL family to keep safe, urging them to stay out of harm’s way.

The Yucateco Boxing League however thanked the YBL family for their cooperation.
