Kwara United technical adviser Kabiru Dogo has rebuffed over the 3-matches ultimatum handed to him by the management of the club.

Kabiru Dogo made this known during the post match session with journalists on Thursday after his team defeat to Kano Pillars in the Match Day 16 of the NPFL at Sanni Abacha Stadium, Kano.

Recalled that the management of the club gave him and his technical crew 3-matches ultimatum and the matches lineup was against Plateau United, Kano Pillars and Lobi Stars after their poor results.

Dogo while speaking with the journalists said, the match ultimatum given to him and his crew was all about politics of the game.

” As far as I’m concerned how can I have match ultimatum in my home, I don’t have ultimatum it’s all about politics of the game” Dogo said.

He stressed that, he’s not afraid and under pressure, noting that nobody can remove him as a technical adviser.

” I’m not afraid of anything and under pressure and nobody can remove me from ilorin” He said.

Dogo further said that, he can not leave Kwara United, even if they said he should leave, stressing that Kwara United is the team for all.

“Even if they said I should leave Kwara United today, I can not leave Ilorin because is our product and team”

He affirmed that everybody must support and be around the team either they are there or not.

“We must be around the team, either we are there or not there, anybody that is there we must support him”

Kabiru Dogo however said, his team was unlucky against Kano Pillars, saying the lucky side won.

Kabiru Dogo commended the organizers, NFF, referees, journalists, coaches and fans for their support for the league.

Kwara United are currently on the 12th position with 19 points after 16 matches, with 4 victories, 7 draws and 5 loses.
