Kwara State Sports Commission will tomorrow Wednesday August 28 commence two weeks of camping of athletes as it intensifies training in preparing for the eighth National Youth Games scheduled to hold in Asaba Delta state 10 to 20th September.
The camping according to the Director of sports, Mallam Ibrahim Bako on behalf of the Executive Chairman of the Commission, Coach Bola Mogaji will commence with open camp which will close on Saturday and go into close camp on Monday to end on September 8 as departure for the Games is fixed for 9th of September.
Meanwhile the Commission’s continent to the team events Zonal Eliminations in Jos Plateau state will depart Ilorin tomorrow.
Kwara will take part in two events, Basketball and football while cricket is given automatic qualification to represent the North Central zone at the Games.
The zonal eliminations will hold Thursday to Saturday August 31.
