Stakeholders Are To Be Queried For Unproductivity Of Players In NPFL – Coach Biffo

Stakeholders and coaches are to be blamed over players unproductive like it use to in Nigeria Premier Football League NPFL.

Former Kwara United Coach, Abdullahi Usman Biffo made this known via an Interview Session on a WhatsApp platform “Sport Connect” on Sunday

Coach Biffo stressed that, lack of training of coaches is one of the major problem, noting that no structure put in place to train and re-train coaches to meet up to the modern trend of football in the world.

He said, not like before when there are private own clubs in the league, retraiting that football administrators now polities.

He also frown on NFF, berate that they need to put a structure down for a coach for proper development and productive of a player.

Former Giwa FC coach, also said football agents contributed to the problem affecting the development of Nigeria football, noting that they rushed players discovered of age 18 and 20 to leave for abroad.

According to him, having more football academy more than football clubs has also contributed to the problem by having unqualified coaches in the academy which are the major problem because they are the developmental of every player where, knowledge, right attitude, discipline are impacted.

He charged the Nigeria Football Federation NFF to make drastical measures to make sure each football academy have qualified and certified coaches.

Coach Abdullahi Usman Biffo, however urged the government to look inward if truly we want developmental football to go back to olden days to set the pace in Africa once more.
