SWAN Congratulates Eniola Bolaji

The Chairman of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Kwara State Chapter, Mallam Ayodejii Ismail has congratulated para badminton player, Eniola Bolaji for winning three gold medals at the 2024 Egypt International Championships in Cairo.

Bolaji won gold medals in the singles, doubles and mixed doubles events to become the first African to achieve such a feat.

The SWAN Chairman said, “Eniola Bolaji has continued to make Kwara State and Nigeria proud. From the 2023 African Championship to the 2023 Dubai Para Badminton Championship and now the Egypt International Championships 2024.

“The Association is optimistic that Eniola Bolaji will make the country proud at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris next July”.

Mallam Ayodeji Ismail charged Eniola Bolaji to go all out and excel at the World Championship in Thailand by February.

He said, “While it is disappointing that she narrowly missed the training tour in Spain, we are optimistic she will make the nation proud at the World Championship in Thailand. I urge her to stay focused on the bigger picture as we draw closer to the 2024 Paralympic Games.”
