Teqball Gets More Recognition From Sports Enthusiasts In Kwara

The fast growing sports “Teqball” has been rated one of the sports that is gaining recognition in Kwara State, the chairman of Teqball Association in Kwara State, Alh. Yahaya Yaradua Jimoh said the Sport is becoming more popular and making it impacts, he noted that the Association has gotten a full recognition and support by Kwara State Sports Commission, which simply means that the Sport is aligned with relevant authorities in the world of Sports.

This was contained in a statement made available to journalists by the chairman of Teqball Association in Kwara State, Alhaji Yahaya Yaradua Jimoh on Sunday 25th February, 2024.

The Chairman of the association has informed the players that training will commence in earnest, assuring them that all necessary things have been put in place for a smooth activities.

He emphasized that, the association has been recognized by the State Sports Commission under the leadership of Alhaji Bolakale Mogaji.

Alh. Yahaya Yaradua Jimoh affirmed that, the association and commission are working together to achieve great for the state in the Teqball competitions in 2024.

In the same vein, the Executive Board of the Association in the communique issued at the end of the Nigeria Teqball Federation (NIGTEQ) held on Saturday 24th February, 2024, approved the facilitation of teqball tables donation from the International Federation of Teqball and its distribution to State Teqball Association based on performance and it usage.

The Executive Board has also approved more engagement of Teqball activities on the media especially social media to create more awareness that will drive the marketing of the game.

The Executive board appreciated and passed a vote of confidence on the Nigeria Teqball Federation led by the President, Engr. Habu Ahmed Gumel for securing the recognition for Teqball from the Federal Ministry of Sports Development.
