Nurses Are The Backbone Of Our Health Care System, We Must Provide Them With The Resources They Need – Hon. Alao-Akala.

Nurses have been identified as the backbone of health care system in our society.

Honorable Member Elect Federal House of Representatives Ogbomoso North/South/Orire Federal Constituency, Hon. Olaminjuwonlo Alao-Akala made this statement on Wednesday while addressing the Students at the 30th Annual Students Nurses Week, National Association of Nigeria Students Nurses and Midwives College of Nursing, Bowen University Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso, Oyo State.

Hon. Alao-Akala stated that Nurses are the first point of contact for patients in hospital, clinics and other healthcare facilities stressing that, they provide care, comfort and supports to patients during their most vulnerable moments.

He noted that Nurses work long hours, sacrificing their personal lives to care for others, adding that their tireless efforts and dedication to their profession make them the true champions of our society.

He charged that, people must recognize the importance of investing in our nurses, by providing them with the resources they need to continue providing high quality care to our communities.

Ogbomoso born Politician also noted that they need support in their profession development, so they can continue to grow and advance in their careers.

Alao-Akala expressed gratitude and admiration for the Nurses, especially all the hardworking ones of Bowen University Teaching Hospital.

He praised them that they are the heart and soul of our health care system, adding that deserve utmost respect and appreciation and we must ready to join hands to support them, for they are the truly our future.
