Tennis: Slow And Steady, As The Journey Looks so Rough, I will get there – Olayinka Azeez

Ibadan born young promising tennis player, Olayinka Azeez has revealed her readiness and preparedness to get to the top through hard work and consistency.

Azeez explained this while featuring on Crest 91.1FM’s Ibadan sports programs, anchored by Olusola Alabi and Timileyin Ogunde.

Olayinka Azeez explained that her passion for tennis is very deep and strong, and she’s ready to represent her state and Nigeria at the higher level.

While explaining her spirit for the tennis, Olayinka Azeez commended her role models, Serena Williams and Novak Djokovic, who inspired her to do more on the tennis court.

She added that her plans are to join the Oyo State Tennis Association in a bid to train well and to be in the right hand to achieve her goals.

Azeez urged Oyo State government, under the leadership of governor Seyi Makinde, to channel more energy on tennis in a way to help grassroots.

Olayinka Azeez, a 200 level student of human kinetic department at Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, aims to fly high and not to relent.
