A world record holder in Women’s 100m hurdles, Tobi Amusan wins a third consecutive title at the ongoing African Games in Accra, Ghana .
The final of 100m hurdles athletics event was held at the University of Ghana Sports complex on Wednesday evening.
Amusan was in a class of her own in the heats on Wednesday as she eased to win the women’s 100m hurdle, crossing the finish line in 12.89 seconds ahead of Madagascar’s Sidonie Fiadanantsoa (13.19) and Zimbabwe’s Kamangirira Ashley Tinashe (13.59)
Following her triumphs in Brazzaville 2015, Rabat 2019, Amusan is now three-time African Games champion by achieving the feat in Accra 2023 on Wednesday (yesterday)
