Head coach of ShootingStars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, Gbenga Ogunbote has emerged as the chairman of the newly launched Nigeria Premier League Managers Association.
Latest City News reported that the NPL club managers gathered on Sunday in Lagos to launch their association where they elected the executive to pilot their affairs.
And at the end of the exercise, the Oracle, as the 3SC gaffer is fondly called, was elected the chairman, while coach Abdul Makaiba emerged as the vice chairman.
Also elected were Remo Stars tactician, Daniel Ogunmodede (secretary), Kabiru Dogo of Kwara United (treasurer) while Sunshine Stars of Akure coach, Edith Olumide Agoye, was elected as the Public Relations Officer of the association.
The elected officials are saddled with the responsibility of piloting the affairs of the association before a proper election at the next Congress.
