Abdul Hameed Babaoyo Emerges New Chairman ABS Supporters Club, Olaitan Okeapomu Returns As Secretary

Abdul Hameed Babaoyo has emerged as the new chairman of Abubakar Bukola Saraki FC Supporters Club dethroned Bolakale Akanbi who was the incumbent chairman.

This was contained in a statement released by the supporters club secretary, Olaitan Eleji Okeapomu to journalist on Monday, 29th January 2024.

Abdul Hameed Babaoyo emerged as chairman supporters club via a voting ballots casting which was held at Government High School, Adeta, Ilorin over the weekend.

Babaoyo who has assumed office since voted into power, will now paddle the affairs of the supporters club spanning the tenure being provided by the supporters club.

In the same vein, Olaitan Eleji Okeapomu returned as secretary of the supporters club unopposed, while Babatunde Adegoke as the new Vice Chairman and Abdulwaheed Ajani as the new PRO respectively.

The new chairman in his speech promised that, he is ready in paddling the affairs of the club diligently, noting that members will be carried along throughout his tenure.

He also promised that, ABS FC will be back to the apex league soon, however saying this can be achieved through the supports been given to them by the supporters club.

Secretary of the club, Olaitan Okeapomu also appreciated all soccer fans in Nigeria for believing and supporting the team.

He promised that ABS FC will continue to empower the youth players to raise them and being known as big players in Nigeria and world at large.

Olaitan Okeapomu stressed that, former players of ABS FC cut across the NPFL clubs with four players, Adeshina Gata, Shola Abdulraheem, Adewale Adeyinka and Abdullahi Boje currently playing for Kwara United FC, Alao Danbani, Lobi Stars, Wasiu Adelaide, Gombe United and Suraju Aiyeleso, Plateau United to mention but a few.

Abubakar Bukola Saraki FC are currently playing at the second tier of the league in the country, Nigeria National League (NNL).
