Adeyemi Football club is poised to enhance its relationship with sports journalists in Oyo State, a move aimed at propelling the club’s activities to new heights.
Kolawole Emmanuel, affectionately known as Coach Drey, the head coach of Adeyemi FC, revealed this commitment in a statement released in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State.
Coach Drey commended the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Oyo State chapter, for their invaluable role in promoting grassroots football activities and acknowledged the indispensable impact of professional sports journalists.
“We are fully aware of the vital role played by professional sports journalists, who consistently provide updates at the grassroots level, thereby catering to the passion of sports enthusiasts. As a football club, we are eager to strengthen our relationship with every member of SWAN, both in Oyo State and across Nigeria,” he stated.
Coach Drey further announced that the Ibadan based club’s Media and Publicity office would soon convene a press conference with SWAN members to unveil the club’s plans in the world of football and other key initiatives.
In outlining the club’s aims and objectives, Coach Drey extended his appreciation to all members of SWAN, particularly the Ibadan chapter under the capable leadership of Chairman Mr. Niyi Alebiosu. He assured SWAN of a productive partnership.
“Adeyemi FC is a distinguished club dedicated to nurturing talented players for the future. We’ve established the club in a manner that adheres to the highest standards, and we are wholly committed to making significant strides in the football arena. We are entering the Nigeria league with a vision of greatness, and we will not disappoint our loyal fans,” Coach Drey declared.
He urged sports enthusiasts across the state to rally behind the team, promising nothing short of excellence.
