The players and officials of Ibadan’s Adeyemi FC have landed in Abuja, gearing up for a groundbreaking football scouting program orchestrated by the esteemed Sports Management Agency, SPOCS. Scheduled to unfold from November 24 to 28 2023.
The departure from Ibadan airport marked the commencement of the team’s journey to Abuja, and Head Coach Kolawole Emmanuel, affectionately known as Coach Drey, took a moment to express gratitude towards the club’s president and convey the team’s eagerness.
“Coming to Abuja is a significant opportunity for us. Our players will have the chance to showcase their capabilities. We appreciate our president, especially for ensuring the comfortable air travel of our players. This gesture is aimed at ensuring they arrive relaxed and ready to deliver exceptional performances during the scouting program,” Coach Drey explained.
With an assurance to fans at home and abroad, Coach Drey pledged that the team would not disappoint during the scouting program. He urged fans to anticipate positive news from the club.
This unique scouting program stands out in Nigeria and Africa, providing a valuable opportunity for young talents to thrive. Notably, Adeyemi Football Club is set to make history as the first non-league side in Oyo State to transport its players by flight.
