Adeyemi Football Club, the acclaimed Ibadan-based professional football team, has had an eventful and productive October 2023, marked by significant developments and achievements. Here’s a recap of our activities and accomplishments:
Strengthening the Media Team:
The month began with an exciting addition to the club’s media team. On the 4th of October, Adeyemi FC unveiled Olusola Alabi, known as “Ijoba Sports,” as the club’s Media Officer. This appointment was made to leverage Ijoba Sports’ extensive experience in both electronic and print media to elevate the club’s profile and media presence.
Enhancing the Coaching Crew:
Demonstrating their dedication to excellence in the world of football, Adeyemi FC expanded its coaching staff by welcoming Folorunsho Yusuf, popularly known as “Rooney,” as the second assistant coach on the 9th of October. Rooney joined forces with Coach Kolawole Emmanuel and Coach Dunmoye Olatunde to further enhance the club’s coaching prowess.
Prioritizing Players’ Welfare:
Under the leadership of Mr. Abiodun Adeyemi, affectionately called “Baba Abe,” Adeyemi FC stands out for its unwavering commitment to player welfare. In the month of October, Baba Abe increased the salaries of the club’s veteran players, a testament to his ongoing support and dedication to their well-being.
Scouting for Future Stars:
Adeyemi FC organized an 8-day open trial camp for U-16 to U-19 players, commencing on October 18th and concluding on October 27th. The camp took place at the club’s home ground, Odogbo Barrack’s Stadium in Ojoo, Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State. This initiative aimed to provide a platform for young talents to grow and nurture future stars. The camp attracted numerous players from across Nigeria, offering them an exceptional experience that exceeded their expectations.
