Sports lovers across the Oke Ogun area of Oyo State have expressed their admiration for Adeyemi FC’s ongoing scouting program, named “Operation Fish Out the Raw Talents.” The initiative, which kicked off on November 6, 2023, in Iseyin local government area of Oyo State, aims to unearth future football stars at the grassroots level.
Chairman of the Oke Ogun Local Football Council, Mr. Fasola Isaac Abayomi, lauded Adeyemi FC for their unique and standard approach to scouting. He emphasized the talent-rich environment in Oke Ogun and pledged the local football council’s support for such initiatives. Mr. Abayomi also called for more programs, including pre-season scouting and tournaments, to further develop local talent.
In response, Coach Kolawole Emmanuel, known as Coach Drey, expressed gratitude for the support received and assured Mr. Abayomi of Adeyemi FC’s commitment to creating a solid platform for future football stars. He promised to return with more fantastic programs in the future.
Coach Drey also commended the unwavering support of Mr. Abiodun Adeyemi, the club’s president, in facilitating the success of the scouting program.
