Adeyemi Football Club, has bolstered its technical capabilities with the appointment of Folorunsho Yusuf, popularly known as ‘Rooney,’ as their new Assistant Coach.
The official unveiling of the professional coach took place amid a vibrant ceremony at the team’s home ground in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State.
During the unveiling, Mr. Abiodun Adeyemi, the club’s president affectionately known as ‘Baba Abe,’ warmly welcomed the new addition to the coaching staff. He expressed confidence in Rooney’s capabilities and emphasized the club’s aspiration for excellence.
“You are highly welcome to this great team; we all know what you’re capable of, and we believe that joining us will bring the best to the team and new developments as well. All we want from you is your best, and you will undoubtedly thrive here. Let’s groom the team together; together, we can achieve something great,” he declared.
Kolawole Emmanuel, the head coach of the team, also known as Coach Drey, praised the club’s president for his efforts in advancing the club.
“I see the arrival of the new coach as a significant development for us. I believe he will contribute immensely to the team, and with his experience in the beautiful game, he is a valuable addition to Adeyemi Football Club,” Coach Drey remarked.
Expressing his gratitude, Folorunsho Yusuf, seasoned coach, acknowledged the club president for the privilege bestowed upon him and pledged to deliver.
“I am thrilled to be here; this feels like home to me, where I will add more value to the team’s strategies and tactics. It’s time for me to work. I appreciate my fellow coaches who have been nurturing the team thus far. We will work together to make Adeyemi FC the best among its peers.”
The new Assistant Coach, Rooney, will collaborate with Coach Kolawole Emmanuel and Coach Dunmoye in the coaching crew, marking a promising era for Adeyemi Football Club.
