Akala Condoles Ibadan Over Olubadan Demise, Says It’s A Colossal Loss

The Lawmaker Representing Ogbomoso North, South and Orire Federal Constituency Hon. Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala JP condoled with the immediate family, Olubadan-In-Council and the indigenes of Ibadan over the demise of imperial majesty, Oba Dr. Moshood Olalekan Balogun Alli Okunmade II, 42nd Olubadan of Ibadan land.

Lawmaker in his condolence message on his X handle formerly known as Twitter on Friday, described Olubadan Moshood as a visionary and exemplary monarch.

The Chairman House Committee on Youths in Parliament also stated that Olubadan lived an impactful life in service to humanity, caring deeply about the welfare and development of the people of Ibadan, Oyo state and Nigeria at large.

He also reiterated that, the monarch was an astute legislator, who championed legislation aimed at improving the quality of life for Nigerians during his time as a Senator of Federal republic of Nigeria.

The statements read:

“I extend my profound condolences to the immediate family, the Olubadan-In-Council, and the indigenes of Ibadan over the demise of His imperial majesty, Oba Dr. Moshood Olalekan Balogun, Alli Okunmade II, the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland” Akala stated.

“Olubadan Moshood was a visionary and exemplary monarch. He lived an impactful life in service to humanity, caring deeply about the welfare and development of the people of Ibadan, Oyo State and Nigeria at large”

“As a former Senator of the Federal republic of Nigeria, he was an astute legislator who championed legislation aimed at improving the quality of life for Nigerians” Lawmaker stated.

Hon. Alao-Akala however prayed that, may Allah console everyone he left behind and grant him Al Jannah Firdaus.
