Association of Kwara Online Media Practitioners has described its readiness to organise more training seminars for her members, while addressing gentlemen of the press at the 1-Day Capacity Training Seminar, the Chairman of the Association reiterated that the leadership of the Association will put together all the necessary measure to ensure the online media space is sensitised in Kwara State.
Dr. Abdulrasheed Salaudeen of the Department of Mass Communication, University of Ilorin, who was the first speaker at the event encouraged Journalists and shared his wealth of experience with the participants.
The Police PRO, ASP Adeyemi Èjíré Adetoun showered enconium on the Association for organising an impactful seminar for members, she implored the Association to engage other security agencies who are also closer to the people.
Adetoun encouraged the general public to be up and doing especially while dealing with members of the Nigerian Police Force, she describes the role of the police in the society as a none avoidable responsibility to the society.
