The gallant shot stopper of Adeyemi Football Club in Ibadan, Oyo state capital, Quadri Ibrahim popularly known as Movic has narrated his journey so far as a goalkeeper in the round leather game.
Ibrahim, while featuring on ‘One-on-One with Ijobasports, an online interview session, basically designed for grassroots talents, explained that his goalkeeping career started from a tender age.
‘As a goalkeeper, it’s my choice from a tender age. When I was in primary school, I started growing the passion for football from football competition in school then and until today I never relent or limit my growth’. He said.
He added that the local league at the grassroots level is the instrument for his total dedication to football and the local league has fully helped him to discover his hidden goalkeeping skills.
The Osun born shotsopper explained that the major challenge in his career was the injury he had while playing in the Benin Republic Premier League then.
According to him, as a young and vibrant goalkeeper, Dele Aiyenugba and Thibaut Courtois are his role models.
Ibrahim expressed his focus on goalkeeping and noted that he is ready to represent the country and also make his parents proud.
Currently, Quadri Ibrahim is the goalkeeper of Adeyemi Football Club, Ibadan.
