Don't be deceived, We are not giving out our school

We still stand our ground and disclaim the use of hijab in our mission schools and our schools be returned, it is our heritage!

What happened in our schools today was never a precedence, or our refusal to join other brethren in this crusade of/for fairness and righteousness. We are not ignorant of the shrewdness demonstrated concerning the present situation in our state – “NOT THEIR STATE.” This plot to catch us unawares will never work, as they schemed to announce the reopening of schools at the slightest notice.

The notice to reopen our schools came to us very late last night. We understand that this is a shrewd stratagem to get us bent to their wicked scheme But this has failed!

We use this medium to console those who were bruised today in a very peaceful protest. This is an abysmal contempt and discourteous to the civil society. We do not expect our government, the government, to be mute and in cold passivity towards the onslaught at places where peaceful protesters were.

There are no other ways to say this that this government has failed us in this regard.

We are not cowardly. We are christian soldiers both in the spirit and in the flesh. We stand with other soldiers in the state to curb this menace and to return fairness and righteousness to this state.

We are not brutal people, We are a peace and God fearing people But on this matter, we are not rescinding our decision to take back what belongs to us. Therefore, we shall do everything within our legal power and right to resist the use of hijab in our mission schools.

OUR STAND

Our mission schools remain shut as from Thursday 18th, March 2021 until the government repeals her decision to allow the use of hijab in our mission schools, and that our schools be returned to us. It is our heritage!

We are solidly standing with CAN, Kwara State Chapter and other brethren churches.

Let there be fairness
