A professional football coach, Kolawole Emmanuel, also known as coach drey , has advised all talented footballers to value education as a panacea to career’s growth.
Coach drey, the head coach of Adeyemi Football Club of Ibadan, explained this while speaking with journalists in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State.
The competent gaffer revealed that many footballers see education as nothing serious.
‘To be a professional footballer who wants to go far in the round leather game, he or she must take education serious, combining education with football is the best because when talents and skills speak education will definitely be a back-up’. He said.
He added that it’s essential for everyone apart from players to be well-educated as to back up their plans, coach drey noted that there some players who have trapped in a wrong contract because they lack the knowledge of the contract they signed.
While appealing to all footballers to take education serious, he added that Adeyemi Football Club’s players are well-educated and discipline too.
