Oladipo Kolawole, the gallant shot-stopper of El-Kanemi Warriors, recently met the legendary former Nigerian goalkeeper Ike Shorunmu in Lafia, the capital city of Nasarawa.
He emphasized Shorunmu’s dedication to the sport as an example for all goalkeepers to emulate.
“It’s my pleasure to meet a legend. When it comes to goalkeeping, we can’t overlook Ike Shorunmu’s efforts and commitment. Goalkeepers like me always learn from his experiences and performances. I cherish and value him a lot. His total commitment and dedication to football can never be erased. He is a role model for many goalkeepers, and we will continue to follow the advice he gives us,” Oladipo stated.
During their training session in Lafia ahead of their upcoming match, Oladipo urged his teammates to approach the game against Lobi Stars with unity and determination.
He emphasized that the match is a crucial opportunity for them to secure three points, despite the recent goalless draw against Heartland FC in Maiduguri over the weekend.
