Emir’s Cup 2023: Chairman Okaa Sports Delights Over Podium Finish, Dedicates It To Fans, Supporters

The Chairman of Okaa Sports Alhaji Abdullahi Adelodun is delighted over their finish on the podium in the just concluded Emir of Ilorin Cup 2023.

Chairman of Okaa Sports, Alhaji Abdullahi Adelodun made this known through a statement on Sunday.

Recall Okaa Sports FC defeated Adezzy FC 2-0 in the third place match on Saturday at Kwara State Stadium, Ilorin to clinched the bronze medal.

He stated that, he’s so proud of his team to finish on the podium of the maiden edition of the competition, adding that this can’t be achieved without the support of those who were cheering his boys.

Alhaji Adelodun, further stated that, it was a success for his team coming third position out of the 33 participating teams.

He assured fans, football lovers, that his team is ready to compete in upcoming football tournament within and outside of the state.

Alhaji Abdullahi Adelodun, however expressed his sadness over the prize giving award promised, which is yet to be delivered to the winners by the organizers of the competition.
