Okaa Sports FC claimed the bronze medal after their victory over opponent at the just concluded Emir of Ilorin Cup 2023.
The third place match was played on Saturday at Kwara State Stadium, Ilorin saw Alh Adelodun side defeated Adezzy FC 2-0.
The Chairman of the club Alhaji Abdullahi Adelodun earlier assured fans that his players will up their game ahead of the encounter which they did with a resounding victory.
A goal in each half of the encounter gave Okaa Sports an edge over their opponents.
A first goal was scored towards the end of the first half and second goal was via a penalty from Seun in the second half of the encounter.
The Chairman of Okaa Sports FC, Alhaji Abdullahi Adelodun expressed his happiness over the victory from his team to claimed bronze medal at the maiden edition of the competition.
Alhaji Adelodun appreciated the fans and those who remained solidly behind the team in thick and thin during the course of the competition.
He assured them, that his team are ready to continue to compete in future competitions both in the state and national.
However he commended the organizer of the competition for their efforts to make it a successful one.
