Okaa Sports FC players went home with an individual awards as the highest goal scorer and best player of the competition at the just concluded Emir of Ilorin Cup 2023.
The duo of Seun David and Akeem Sa’ad were the players went home with the accolades.
David who was always torn on the flesh of the opponents defence through out the tournament for his prowess scored beautiful goals from group stage upon to third place match.
The 4 weeks competition which ended on Saturday saw Seun David shared the highest goal scorer award with one Kabiru of Barrier Football Academy with both scoring five goals each.
Also another Okaa Sports player Akeem Sa’ad went home with best player of the competition.
Sa’ad whose dribbling skills, composure and agility on the ball gave him an edge over other players in the tournament.
The sharp winger who was known for his pace and crosses from the wings in the tournament made him to be named best player of the tournament.
Chairman Okaa Sports while reacting to the award bestowed to the duo of Akeem Sa’ad and Seun David for their stellar performance, said he was so proud of the players for rising to the occasion for the team, praising other players for their hard work.
