Ghanaian actor, Kwadwo Nkansah popularly known as Lil win, has recounted some of the memories with late veteran actor, John Okafor fondly called Mr. Ibu.
In an exclusive interview with Ghanaian journalist, Kofi Adoma Nwanwani on Kofi TV on Monday, Lil Win said he gave a one-day off to actors Ramsey Nouah, Charles Awurum and Victor Osuagwu from filming the movie ‘A Country called Ghana’ for them to mourn late Mr Ibu.
He revealed that although he would be running at a loss for not filming in one day, it doesn’t matter as Nigerians lost a legend.
He also stated that he had worked with Ibu before in a movie called ‘Sure Banker’ adding a long time ago, he flew to Nigeria to film a commercial and Ibu invited him to his home to meet his family and eat ‘Eba.’
Ibu died on Saturday, March 2, at 62.
