The Executive Chairman of Kwara United Football Club of Ilorin, Mr Kumbi Titiloye has pledged a support to the Kwara Teqball team at the ongoing Teqball World Championship qualifiers currently ongoing in Abuja.
The Chairman Kwara State Teqball team Alhaji Yahaya Yaradua Jimoh made this known via a phone conversation to journalist on Saturday (today)
Alh Yaradua in his conversation with journalist, said Mr Titiloye pledged to award each players a cash prize of one hundred and fifty thousand naira (#150,000) in every wins of categories of the championship.
According to him, Kwara Teqball team will compete in Mixed doubles, Men’s singles and Men’s doubles event.
He affirmed that, the team have progressed to the knock-out stages of the championship after an impressive performance in the group stage.
Yaradua promised that, the team are in confidence to make kwara proud as they are ready to win every medals available at the events.
He however thanked, Mr Titiloye for the kind gesture and unwavering supports to the kwara contingents and prayed God in His infinite mercy will bless him abundantly.
The Teqball World Championship qualifiers started on Thursday 21st and will end on Sunday 24th, September 2023.
Teqball World Championship will start on 29th, November 2023 in Thailand.
